As the peak association for the post-compulsory education and training sector in Australia for over 20 years, the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) proudly offers a wide range of professional development activities to support all staff working within the VET sector, from CEOs through to administration staff.

Its national Professional Development Framework was launched in 2012 to provide the sector with nationally consistent and relevant professional development, delivered through various convenient models, including face-to-face, via webinar or as part of in-house, customised programs. ACPET ensures the quality of its activities by engaging highly experienced and well regarded industry professionals. All VET workshops are directly mapped to the national quality standards.

On behalf of the Australian Government, ACPET is delivering a fully subsidised ‘step up’ professional development series which builds RTO practitioners’ knowledge and skills about the ASCF and the CSfW, from introductory sessions through to a master class, commencing in October 2014 through to June 2016.
