Industry Advisors

Right Way uses the expertise of current industry practitioners, known as Industry Advisors, from each service industry sector to evaluate applications for accreditation.

By becoming a Right Way Industry Advisor you can play a significant role in ensuring that training delivered in the service industries is high quality.

The participation of practitioners who currently work in industry is vital to the success of the Right Way program. Industry Advisors are involved in all evaluation processes because they have up-to-date industry knowledge, expertise in current operational practice and knowledge of workplace equipment and resources currently being used.

Industry Advisors are engaged by Right Way to:

  • evaluate applications for trainer and assessor accreditation to ensure they have the required industry skills and experience
  • participate in the evaluation of registered training organisation (RTO) facilities to ensure equipment and other resources reflect those currently used in workplaces
  • evaluate training resources to ensure they are up-to-date with current industry practice and meet training package requirements.

The Right Way program is expanding is recruiting Industry Advisors nationally, across all service industry sectors.

These sectors include retail and wholesale, sport, fitness, community recreation, outdoor recreation, travel, tourism, meetings and events, accommodation, restaurants and catering, holiday parks and resorts, hairdressing, beauty, floristry, community pharmacy and funeral services.
